Workforce planning is difficult
System changes, including the implementation of technology, displacement of traditional roles and processes and the movement of professions across borders, make workforce planning a challenging task. Combined with the limited availability of workforce information due to commercial sensitivities, workforce planning often escapes management focus, both in terms of capability and workforce engagement.
