UK and global climate and its effect on health
Climate change can have negative effects on global mental health. These effects are felt most by those with pre-existing serious mental illness. There is a need for research into the mechanisms by which climate change could impact on mental health in order to be able to inform policy in this area.
Proposed workforce impact
- Increased demand for specialist care
