Social media transforms awareness of young people
The uptake of social media in pharmacy allows pharmacists to engage with the general public better, and in particular with young people. There are improvements to the publicity and marketing of the services pharmacies provide, and social media analytics enable the delivery of information to be tailored to the individual. Pharmacists can disseminate information about public health initiatives rapidly to a wide audience.
Proposed workforce impact
