Lack of training available for SLT support staff

SLTs work as part of a multi-professional team, and are often supported by SLT assistants (SLTAs). By creating training opportunities and a recognised career pathway for SLTAs, SLTs would be able to make best use of this resource and focus on the tasks that only they can perform.
