Increasing demand for research practice posts

The demand for research practice posts increases to provide clinical research leadership in the hospital setting. As such, evidence-based results are rapidly translated into effective pharmacy practice, increasing the capacity and capability of the workforce. Research is proactively undertaken to drive innovation and resource utilisation, and ensure the application of outcomes rather than clinical need. Designated research posts ensure that the results are disseminated on a national scale, and productivity, patient safety and patient care increase as a result.
