Combination therapy evolves
Medicines with added supplements such as nutrition or hormone replacement therapy are increasingly used in the prevention and treatment of illness and disease. Pharmacists are expected to advise patients on the potential harmful interactions of both medicines and added supplements. Technology is commonly used to provide decision support for combination therapies.
Proposed workforce impact
