Advances in reproductive, fetal and maternal medicine

Technological advances in reproductive and fetal medicine increase the proportion of women who can become pregnant and give birth.

There is an attendant increase in the conditions that can be monitored in maternal medicine, or developments in screening technology identify new risks which require management.
